“Character” is a term used by cards that can target both Mane Character cards and Friend cards. Mane Character cards cannot be targeted by cards that target only Friends (and vice versa) but can be targeted by cards that target characters. A player’s characters are used to confront Problems, participate in faceoffs and meet the play requirements of other cards.
